Attitude[edit]

This aircraft is taking off, not landing. --Born2flie (talk) 13:44, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

First flight[edit]

I have a letter which is postmarked that it is the First Flight Helicopter Mail Service. It was sent from my Great Uncle to my mother. The letter also says that he is deliberately sending it on the first helicopter mail service. It is postmarked more than a year before the date you mention. It is postmarked July 8, 1946 in North Hollywood, CA. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.173.63.127 (talk) 00:58, 23 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The cover you have was sent on the second experimental flight in 1946 per this listing and this eBay item which is not the first scheduled first flight. This may also be of interest. ww2censor (talk) 02:48, 23 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
