I'm not used to comment any article, so I apologize if this is not the right way.

Maybe I'm wrong, but as far as I know, the names in this map are not exactly. Mesopotamia and Assyria refers to the same region. Mesopotamia is the ancient greek word for Assyria, which both means 'between two rivers'. So, the place where you put Mesopotamia should be Babylonia, which is the right civilization for that place.
My knowledge is taken, among others, from the reading of Gods,_Graves_and_Scholars:_the_Story_of_Archaeology, some years ago.
