Kent State did not wear this logo on the team's football helmets in 2014 - instead, the numerals '54' were worn on the right side of each football helmet. The outline of Ohio was not present.

You are free to edit the description of the file, which I went ahead and did. Editors, such as myself, do this all on free time, so sometimes we make mistakes or don't remember something totally correct. Nevertheless, the logo was used by the team on the field and in social media accounts for the entire 2014 season, even if just the number 54 was used on the helmets. --JonRidinger (talk) 02:43, 26 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
