Concrete bottomed? I didn't think the bottom of the channel was concrete, except underneath the bridge. Hmallett 22:29, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for pointing that out. My impression was that the channel was of concrete but perhaps it was just compacted stone grit. My other photographs are rather indistinct. Oosoom Talk to me 13:28, 7 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The sides now appear to be lined with rubble (both sides). It'll soon be underwater and hidden from view anyway... Hmallett 21:54, 7 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
