Thanks for pointing that out. My impression was that the channel was of concrete but perhaps it was just compacted stone grit. My other photographs are rather indistinct. Oosoom ^Talk to me 13:28, 7 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The sides now appear to be lined with rubble (both sides). It'll soon be underwater and hidden from view anyway... Hmallett 21:54, 7 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
