Differences?[edit]

I'm slightly confused by this, other than the terminating groups there is no difference between the two molecules shown, they both have five carbons between each amide group. Is this correct? 121.223.189.65 (talk) 03:13, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The difference is amide groups in the same vs alternating orientation, in other words, 6-aminohexanoic acid vs hexane-1,6-diamine and hexanedioic acid "monomers" (not mentioning that the images represent small molecules, not polymers, here, maybe later on the commons page). —Mykhal (talk) 09:07, 31 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
