hi i am a science person and i was wondering if a daddy long legs has 1 body or 2 or 1 or 2 body parts

Do you mean... like, body segments? Cephalothorax and abdomen are all this spider has. That separates it from the other 'daddy longlegs', the harvestman... it only has one body part encapsulating the head, thorax, and abdomen in one.

Confusing image

[edit]

This image contains more than one organism and should not be used for a taxobox. The legs and wings of the prey item appear to be part of the spider itself, and with no explanation a layman could get a very distorted view of what this thing looks like. agreed.
