Continuing dispute of copyright aspects[edit]

Since I had uploaded the correct version of the RADURA-logo (the one with the filled 'leaves'), we are encountering a dispute about copyright issues.

Tagging Non-Free Vector Logo with , Bot Error?

First of all it must be noted that this logo is not at all a logo of an organization, item, or event, and is also not protected by copyright and possibly trademark; the relevant information has been provided when uploading the revised version. The source of the work has been provided, see

D.A.E. Ehlermann, The RADURA-terminology and food irradiation, Food Control 20 (2009), 526-528, doi:10.1016/j.foodcont.2008.07.023

Furthermore, this logo is provided for free use by everyone through Codex Alimentarius.

see section 5.2 Irradiated foods CODEX-STAN - 1 (2005) General Standard for the labelling of prepacked food Labelling of Prepackaged Foods (CODEX STAN 1-1985)

It is also provided by ASTM international and, hence, compatible with US copyright regulations.

Who can provide a final solution of this issue? Dieter E (talk) 14:22, 28 September 2009 (UTC) Dieter E (talk) 12:11, 14 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

again BOT error:

The RADURA symbol is not at all a trade mark nor protected by any copyright! Otherwise please provide evidence. Who can help to settle this dispute permanently. -- Dieter E (talk) 09:48, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not at all a 'hazard symbol'[edit]

The international RADURA-logo is not at all a hazard symbol; it is not intended to warn the consumer about a risk associated with food irradiated by ionizing radiation. There is no such risk from the consumption of irradiated food, as main-stream science has concluded. Dieter E (talk) 08:48, 3 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
