City Hall Rotunda article[edit]

I noted that in the article, the security checks are briefly mentioned and refer to them as being post 9/11. In 1988 I visited San Francisco and the City Hall. I went through a security checkpoint which included an x-ray machine and a metal detector. I think the checkpoints were placed at the City Hall entrances in the wake of the 1978 assassination of Mayor George Moscone and Supervisor Harvey Milk. It is possible that the security checkpoints were upgraded since 9/11 as I have not visited San Francisco since then.
