Could you extend the axis to show 2010? - It will make it less misleading. It was hard to notice that this only actually has data to 2007 without reading the caption. (See the logarithmic graph for reference.) 217.156.153.4 (talk) 08:14, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

i agree the chart needs to show more of the recent years rather then as far back as 1950 when this S&P was nearly worthless by comparison becasue the millions it was worth in the 1950's is so much smaller then the trillions of dollars that the s&5 500 is worth now. i would like the chart to go from 1960 to 2012 instead. 99.164.105.120 (talk) 04:47, 2 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It looks to me like the chart and the year information do not line up properly. The S&P reached a local peak around March 20, 2000, for example, and it looks from this chart like it occurred in late 2002 or so....JM Dahl (talk) 23:57, 18 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
