Non-free usage in Conseil du Scoutisme polynésien[edit]
The non-free usage of this image in Conseil du Scoutisme polynésien seems to satisfy all 10 of the NFCC. The image is being used in the infobox as the primary means of identification of the organization, which is generally deemed to be sufficient to provide the context required by WP:NFCC#8. The only possible problem is that no source is provided for the image: "The logo may be obtained from Conseil du Scoutisme polynésien" is the default wording adding by the template when no source information is added. Some information about the image's copyright status should be provided per WP:NFCC#10a. There are over 300 national images used in infoboxes, and their use in the infobox is a proper usage. Images don't call for citation-needed tag. If it's the badge they wear, that's their emblem.--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 04:30, 28 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think this particular usage is problematic per WP:NFCC#8, but as I said above the only possible problem is the lack of source information provided for the image. Each usage of a non-free image is required to satisfy all 10 non-free content criteria. Failure to satisfy a single criterion means that the image fails the NFCC. WP:OTHERSTUFFEXIST is not really considered to be automatic justification for using a non-free image in any article because it sometimes is the case that "Other stuff should also be deleted". For reference, any image free or non-free, which lacks proper source information can be tagged for speedy deletion per WP:F4, so better sourcing information needs to be provided. -- Marchjuly (talk) 06:04, 28 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
This seems to satisfy WP:NFCC#8. The source is poor and seems to violate WP:NFCC#10a. I tried clicking on the link to the organisation's website in the infobox, but found that all I could do was to add {{dead link}} to the infobox. --Stefan2 (talk) 01:01, 29 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
