Identities[edit]

Identities of two of the persons in this photo are in question. A duplicate of this image is found on an official Canadian website here. However, that image is reversed. It describes the men in the same order as this image. ((Right to left:) Sakawaraton - John Smoke Johnson (born ca. 1792); John Tutela (born ca. 1797) and Young Warner (born ca. 1794)).

While the middle gentleman is certainly John Tutela, the identities of the other two men are in question. ++Arx Fortis (talk) 23:08, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This should no longer be an issue: The previous version of this image was a scan of a reversed print; the current version is almost certainly correct. (In the previous version here the men were all holding their knives in their left hands; it is much more likely that they are all three right-handed.) Tkinias (talk) 20:25, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
