Whoever updates this map seems to be mostly concerned with Aleppo province, but not the goings-on in Raqqa, Daraa, or Suwayda, amongst others.

Is there any way to make the map legend collapsible? Mogdonazia (talk) 18:26, 23 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Updates[edit]

I am highly updated on stuff going on in Syria and Yemen at the moment, however this map which is a highly important part of the article Syrian Civil War has not been updated since late May, despite there having been several important changes in territory since then. I hope someone might get us an updated version soon. Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 14:01, 14 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Isis in the desert[edit]

Looking on the detailed map and at reports of the last few month, shouldn't the ISIS pocket in the desert east of Deir-ez-Zor be mostly or fully gone? Smeagol 17 (talk) 21:28, 31 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Suwayda offensive[edit]

The map is not showing the suwayda pocket, which is only now being cleared out

inconsistency with[edit]

This map is inconsistent with File:Syrian, Iraqi, and Lebanese insurgencies.png in idlib108.31.73.33 (talk) 05:28, 14 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

That is because the map you just mentioned is not as focused on Syria alone. Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 11:59, 14 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
The other map, namely File:Syrian, Iraqi, and Lebanese insurgencies.png has nearly no green areas left in idlib. This creates some confusion for the readers.108.31.73.33 (talk) 19:08, 14 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Outdated[edit]

There are new liberated areas, for example Khan Sheykun is no longer under Nusra/FSA but under Syrian goverment. --Jakeukalane (talk) 20:02, 7 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
