5 billion?

[edit]

Why does your table list the world population at 5 billion in 2009? I am pretty sure there were well over 6 billion in 2009, or, am I missing something? Also, I am of the opinion that all graphics (and charts, plots, etc.) uploaded to Wikipedia (and/or the Commons) should _always_ have a detailed description of how they were made, what data was used (including sources), what program or scripts were used, etc. This is especially true for data that changes over time, as these graphics will need to be updated and the original author might not have the time to update them (or might have forgotten about them, moved on, etc.). Your source, CIA World Factbook, has already released data for 2012. --Thorwald (talk) 02:02, 16 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
