Livelikemusic, Can you please explain why you just uploaded a newer version of the file when the older one was just fine? You gave no summary during the reupload. It looks like you just want to be the uploader of the cover regardless of consideration for which image is actually being used. I have to agree, this seems pretty pointless aside from the file size. AFAIK, the file size doesn't really matter so long as it's not something entirely unreasonable for a 300×300 PNG. This 24KB version must have been compressed in some way, and 107 KB wasn't so big that it really needed replacing. Even if it had been 200 KB, I'd say it would be unnecessary to replace. Per the image resolution guidelines, when selecting non-free images, both the number of pixels and overall file size should be taken into account. If a lower-res is available — which it is — that's what is preferable to be used. livelikemusic talk! 19:15, 28 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the explanation. The 22KB cover is fine then I suppose. You should try to decrease the size of the Sweetener one too tbh since that is 131KB currently. Cheers!--N Ø 19:46, 28 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
