This image could be offensive to many people.

Is this the best image we can use for this page?

  • Wikipedia is not censored. Also the image is cartoon-like, which I consider the best effort not to offfend anyone and looks like in authentic textbooks :) --Infestor (talk) 14:52, 16 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

'not censored' but 'not to offend anyone'?? Oxymoron there. Sean McHugh 02 (talk) 03:47, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What's your point? You removed the qualifying word so I have no idea what you endeavor to demonstrate, but the statement made did make sense. He was saying that a) wikipedia is not censored, and; b) that because it is cartoon-like its explicitness is lower than it might be otherwise. For whatever reason you seem to conflate the two sentences without any effort to show the relevance in the absence of their gramatical or logical interdependance in the original text.
As for the rest of you guys, why do you come here to say this offends you? This seems quite irrelevant. A talk page is to discuss the item and its uses. If you want a seperate image then make one yourself and change it in whatever article you wish. If you don't want this image to exist on these servers then propose it be deleted with whatever policy you feel supports you. But stop talking into the void with no point. Do you not want the image here? In the article? Want it changed? Feel it is inaccurate or of poor relevance in its article? WTF is your point? Try to express a thought of some relevance to the item you're commenting upon.--Δζ (talk) 08:11, 7 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I love the umbrella excuse of "WIKIPEDIA IS NOT CENSORED." Okay, let's put up a picture of men having a bukkake ring onto a mutilated corpse of a pig. What? That's offensive? I don't see your point. WE DON'T CENSOR. (And because I know the inevitable response... no that's not illegal, it's not defiling a corpse; dead animals have the legal status of FOOD.) 99.245.62.92 (talk) 04:35, 13 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Keep nagging, it won't change anything. You want something changed, purpose deletion and/or make another picture that you find better. Also, we already told you we try to make stuff as non-offensive as possible. And for a bukkake picture this one isn't very offensive at all. 84.84.252.137 (talk) 14:52, 30 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
