Season 2

The third season of the American television mystery music game show I Can See Your Voice was initially scheduled to premiere on Fox on September 19, 2023,[25] which was later occupied by replays of 9-1-1: Lone Star amid the Hollywood labor disputes.[26] As a result, the first part formally began airing on January 3, 2024,[27] followed by a second part that resumed on May 16, 2024.[28][29]

Gameplay

[edit]

Format

[edit]

Under the original format, the contestant(s) can eliminate mystery singers after each round, and ended with the last remaining mystery singer depending on the outcome of a duet performance by guest artist.[b]

The contestant(s) must eliminate one mystery singer at the end of each round, receiving $15,000 if they eliminate a bad singer. At the end of the game, the contestant(s) may either end the game and keep the money they had won in previous rounds, or risk it for a chance to win $100,000 by correctly guessing whether the last remaining mystery singer is good or bad.

Rounds

[edit]

Each episode presents the guest artist and contestant(s) with six people whose identities and singing voices are kept concealed until they are eliminated to perform on the "stage of truth" or remain in the end to perform the final duet.

  1. Lip Sync Showdown
A pair of mystery singers perform a lip sync of their own through a showdown. At the conclusion of performances, the contestant(s) eliminate one mystery singer from each group.
  2. Unlock my Life
The guest artist and contestant(s) are presented with a video package containing possible clues by one of the mystery singers of their choice.
    • A Day in the Life — The guest artist and contestant(s) are presented with a video package chronicling the daily lives by one of the mystery singers.
    • Secret Snoop — The guest artist and contestant(s) "tour" one of the mystery singer's homes for clues (which may include red herrings) for 60 seconds.
    • Super Fan — The guest artist and contestant(s) are presented with a video package featuring a "super fan" by one of the mystery singers.
  3. Interrogation
The guest artist and contestant(s) may ask questions to the remaining mystery singers. Good singers are required to give truthful responses, while the bad singers must lie.
