Season chronology |
The third season of the German television mystery music game show I Can See Your Voice premiered as Zeig uns Deine Stimme![4][5] on RTL at prime time block on 24 July 2022, but it was prematurely ended on 7 August 2022, before resuming to late night block on 20 August 2022.[b]
Gameplay
[edit]Format
[edit]According to original South Korean rules, the guest artist and contestant(s) eliminate mystery singers at the end of each round, with the last remaining mystery singer ended up in a duet performance by one of the guest artists.[3][11]
The contestants must eliminate one mystery singer at the end of each round, receiving €2,500 if they eliminate a bad singer. At the end of a game, the contestants may either end the game and keep the money they had won in previous rounds, or risk it for a chance to win €25,000 by correctly guessing whether the last remaining mystery singer is good or bad.
Rounds
[edit]- Full playback (German: Vollplayback)
The mystery singer lip syncs to the good singer's recording, then a bad singer's recording comes in the middle of the performance. - Tune it up! (German: 3, 2, 1... Ton an!)
A muted video of each mystery singer that reveals only 0.3 seconds of their singing voice is played as an additional hint. - Fact or fake? (German: Fakt oder Fake?)
The guest artist and contestants are presented with a video package containing possible clues by one of the mystery singers. - Cross-examination (German: Kreuzverhör)
The guest artist and contestants may ask questions to the remaining mystery singers. Good singers are required to give truthful responses, while the bad singers must lie.

Notes
[edit]- ^ a b For this season's highlights:
- Daniel Hartwich planned to host the 3rd season entirely[1] before he got positive for COVID-19.[2] He would then replace by interim hosts Oliver Pocher (ep. 2), Laura Wontorra (ep. 3), Jan Köppen (ep. 4), Sonja Zietlow (ep. 5), and Oliver Geissen (ep. 6).[3]
- Ilse DeLange (of The Common Linnets) (Netherlands, ep. 5) is a foreign guest artist.
- ^ The 3rd season has initial air dates for the second half episodes on 14, 21 and 28 August 2022.[1][3] However, poor reception[6][7] forced the show to end the season immediately,[8] and was later rescheduled to 20, 27 August and 3 September 2022.[9][10]
- ^ For the returning guest artists (which also include foreigners or former good singers), names are displayed in italics.
- ^ For the mixed groups, names of the bad singers are displayed in italics.
