KABOOM! is the debut studio album by American chiptune-based rock band I Fight Dragons, released in 2011 by Photo Finish Records. When the band won their release from the record label, they started offering it for free on their site.[7] This has, however, been replaced with the band's newest album, Canon Eyes.[8]

Versions of the band's discography on USB Dogtags, released on the official online store, included an exclusive piano-ballad version of a track, titled "I Will Wait For You If You Do For Me" at the end of the album.[9]

With two EPs, including last years Welcome To The Breakdown, under their belts, I Fight Dragons are finally set to unveil their debut full length. The onomatopoeically titled Kaboom! is set for an October 25th release from Photo Finish/Atlantic. Produced by Matt Mahaffey (Beck, Tenacious D), the album was created not only with traditional rock elements, but also by using old video game soundcards – hence the term chiptune.
