The Christian Democratic Youth (Danish: Kristendemokratisk Ungdom), formerly the Youth of the Christian People's Party (Kristelig Folkepartis Ungdom), is the youth league of the Christian Democrats, a political party in Denmark. Magnus Rothmann is the party's chairman since april 2024.

Kristendemokratisk Ungdom (abbreviated KDU) is the political youth organization associated with the Christian Democrats. The association was founded in october 2010 as Young Christian Democrats, after the Christian Democrats had won a seat in the Danish Parliament, and changed to its current name at the general meeting in 2018.

The Christian Democrats had been without a youth organization from 2007-2010, when the former Christian Democratic Youth broke away and became the think tank Cura Ungdom in connection with the election defeat in 2007. Kristian S. Larsen was appointed as chairman at the founding general meeting and re-elected at the general meeting in 2011. Aron Henning was elected chairman at the general meeting in 2012. In 2013, Isabella Arendt Laursen was elected chairman.

In 2016, Isabella Arendt Laursen chose to step down as national chairman, in connection with the national meeting, and then Jacob Hellwing, without opposing candidates, was elected as chairman.

At the general election in 2011, 14 parliamentary candidates from the then Young Christian Democrats were on the list of the Christian Democrats; the party and the candidates were not elected.

In October 2020, Hanna-Maria Smed Molte Lyng was elected as chairman, with no opponents.

In April 2024, Hanna-Maria Smed Molte Lyng resigned as chairman. Magnus Pedersen Rothmann is acting chairman until the upcoming extraordinary national meeting.[1]
