[edit]The Detroit Dragons were originally an All American Hockey League team based in Fraser, MI. They were founded in 2008 and folded in 2009 due to poor ownership and bad finances.

Current Ownership
[edit]Before adopting the name Detroit Dragons, the team was briefly known as the Detroit Bears. The Detroit Bears operated for only a few months in 2024 before being shut down abruptly for restructuring and reorganization. The Detroit Dragons began recruiting members for recreational and professional teams in May of 2024. They plan to officially launch the team on January 16th, 2025.
