Nowdan (Persian: نودان)[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Kuhmareh District[4] of Kuhchenar County, Fars province, Iran.

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 2,589 in 581 households, when it was in Kazerun County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 2,574 people in 669 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 2,892 people in 841 households.[2]

In 2018, the city was separated from the county in the establishment of Kuhchenar County.[7]
