Illinois Route 22, also known as Half Day Road for part of its length, is an east–west state highway in northeastern Illinois. It runs from U.S. Route 14 (Northwest Highway) in Fox River Grove to U.S. Route 41 (Skokie Highway) in Highland Park. It travels a distance of 19.7 miles (31.7 km) and is one of the few roads that runs almost entirely across southern Lake County while also providing access to southeastern McHenry County. Throughout its length, it shifts between two and four lanes as it passes through a frequently changing setting of scenic forestry and smaller populations, as well as busy intersections and larger developments. It originally started as a massive loop around the Chicago area, however it has retained its current, much shorter route ever since 1937. During the 1990s, it became the subject of much concern for local residents regarding expansion which slowed down any progress for capacity improvement. By the late 2000s, the delays have come and gone and it has emerged as a state route that has been largely modernized to deal with heavy traffic.

This is a discography for the Smoking Popes, a pop punk band from Lake in the Hills, Illinois. The Smoking Popes have released four studio albums, a compilation album, two live albums, four extended plays (EPs), and seven singles. The group was founded in 1991 by Mike Felumlee (drums) and brothers Matt (bass guitar), Eli (guitar), and Josh Caterer (guitar, vocals). After releasing three independent EPs, the Popes signed with local punk rockrecord labelJohann's Face Records. Johann's Face issued a fourth EP and the Popes' first two studio albums—Get Fired and Born to Quit. EMI subsidiary Capitol Records signed the band and re-released Born to Quit in 1995, yielding a minor hit on punk rock radio stations with "Need You Around". The Smoking Popes released their third album through Capitol in 1997 and broke up the following year. To fulfill their contract with Capitol Records, the band recorded an album of cover songs, which was rejected for release by the label. The Popes were dormant until they reunited in late 2005. The band played a reunion show on November 11, 2005, recording and releasing the concert through Felumlee's Double Zero Records. They are currently working on a fourth studio album for Flameshovel Records.

Murray Albert "Bert" Olmstead is a retired Canadian professional ice hockeyleft winger who played for the Montreal Canadiens, Chicago Black Hawks and Toronto Maple Leafs in the National Hockey League (NHL). Olmstead began his career with the Black Hawks in 1949. In December 1950, he was traded to the Montreal Canadiens via Detroit. Olmstead had his best statistical years playing for Montreal, leading the league in assists in 1954–55 with 48, and setting a league record for assists with 56 the following season. Olmstead was claimed in an Intra-League Draft by Toronto Maple Leafs in 1958, and played there until his retirement in 1962. In the 1967–68 season, Olmstead served as coach of the expansion Oakland Seals. Olmstead played in the Stanley Cupfinal in 11 of his 14 seasons in the NHL, winning it five times. He won it four times with Montreal, in 1953, and from 1956 to 1958, and once with Toronto, in 1962, which was his last season. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1985.
