The Salvador Challenger is a professional tennis tournament played on clay courts. It is currently part of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger Tour. The challenger tournament was first staged in 1979 as the Salvador Open[1] for one season only.[2] It was revived and has been held in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil since 2022.[3]
