SAT was founded in 2011 and began playing in the Kerala Premier League for the 2016–17 season.[5][6] In July 2024, it was announced that SAT would participate in the 2024–25 I-League 3.[7][8][9] The club was placed in group A, alongside Diamond Harbour, Sports Odisha, Lakecity and Ghaziabad City. Their first match was on September 3 against Sports Odisha at the Naihati Stadium. Goals from Rifhath Ramzan and Hasanul Hadi gave SAT a 2–0 victory.[10] Win against Ghaziabad City[11] and draw against Lakecity[12] earned them a spot in the playoffs.
