Title

[edit]

Very few sources refer to the "Jordan rift valley" when discussing this earthquake. About five times more refer to "Jordan valley". The Jordan rift valley is an outdated concept amongst most geologists with the "Dead Sea Transform" being the structure most often referred to. 1033 Jordan valley earthquake seems like a reasonable compromise as an alternative title. I can request a non-controversial move. I only added "Rift" because a redirect existed and this was one way to get around. I forgot about the title because I was working on a 6.2 in Afghanistan the same day I started this article. Oops Dora the Axe-plorer (explore) 23:56, 21 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
