I'm not quite sure how to incorporate it, but I would have liked to have seen mention in the lead that Liverpool from England and Borussia Mönchengladbach is from Germany. It is probably also best to mention that Rome is in Italy, though that is not as important, but perhaps easier to incorporate. My line of thought here is that this sort of article will sooner or later be read by someone who is not familiar with European football, and need such clues.
The first two sentences under 'Liverpool' read a bit awkward; perhaps merge them into a single sentence, as it is not completely clear that the victory refers to the previous year's UEFA Cup Final.
Any reason for not linking and using the term '1975–76 Football League'?
I have problems with the statement "The decision was dubious". Very often teams who get a penalty kick against them will claim it was dubious, and since the source seems to be Liverpool-oriented, I would have liked to see a neutral source make such a claim.
Parts of the match summary are not referenced.
Link 'penalty area'.
Avoid all-caps in team roster.
The external link redirect to the main UEFA page on Champions League.
