Oblivion

[edit]

I changed it from March to early 2006. Although it IS most likely it will be in March anyway, no official date has been set. Change after one is. JONJONAUG 21:18, 22 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Seasons and video games

[edit]

Autumn, spring, summer and winter. It's the four seasons, but they are not good to use when telling the world when things like a new video game will come. It works in one country, likte the UK or the USA, but not the whole world. Some people, like the Australians, New Zealanders, South Africans, Chileans or Argentinians, will be very confused with this. If someone on the Northern Hemisphere "spring", it's then they have their autumn. And winter? On the Northern Hemisphere, the year both starts and ends during winter months (Like summer on the Southern Hemisphere). It's better to write the months, like "May 2006", or "early 2006", "mid 2006", "late 2006" and "Christmas 2006".

I changed it to more "official" video game terminology (such as Quarter 1, etc). bob rulz 20:54, 9 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dominant Consoles

[edit]

As well as I think Revolution will do, the ommission of XBox 360 and PS3 from that list is obviously POV. I will change it. 68.4.212.158 02:23, 20 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Some changes

[edit]

I made some changes to this page. If someone should disagree, comment here before reverting or something like that... Azertus 16:28, 3 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Significant Games

[edit]

Do all the games have to be in America? Because Mother 3 seems significant, but it's only in Japan. I'll add it, and their are any problems, then mention it here. Barrylocke 13:23, 18 May 2006 (UTC) Barrylocke[reply]

I really think this list needs to be culled a little - I really don't think titles like "X-Men: The Official Game", and "Sonic Riders" have any place on the list, given that both have fared badly in reviews, and will hardly be considered "significant" in five years time. Any thoughts? -al 11:13, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Kingdom Hearts II

[edit]

I added the release dates for Kingdom Hearts II across Europe and Australia. The Autralian date was already on the game's main page before I got here, but I added the European date there as well. It should be noted that it isn't actually official, as Square-Enix still state the date as Autumn 2006, but many online versions of UK videogame outlets such as GAME and HMV have now got this date as the expected. GameFAQs now also has the European date on the game's main page, citing it as "official".

Events

[edit]

It's the end of 2006 and the events list only has events from January. This needs to be fixed. --Rodzilla 05:41, 26 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Notable Releases

[edit]

The notable releases list is way too long. Remember, it's Notable releases, not "Every Game Released This Year." It's incredibly difficult to scan the list for the major titles of the year when there's so many meaningless titles included. --Rodzilla 05:46, 26 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fight Night 3 not included in the "Notable Releases" calendar.

[edit]

This is pretty weird since it is one of the most successfully selling sports games of the year 2006. It was released in the month of February but it's not shown in the calendar.

Can anyone fix this?

Yes, you can. Find a reliable source for the release date and add the game to the list of releases. Please also correct the game article; that offers both February 20 and February 22 as release dates. Huon (talk) 17:29, 11 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Fight Night Round 3

[edit]

This is a very popular and critically acclaimed video game which became one of the best selling video games of the year. I believe it should be a "Notable Release". I cannot edit though. http://www.metacritic.com/browse/games/score/metascore/year/xbox360?year_selected=2006&sort=desc&hardware=all&view=detailed

It's obvious you can edit; you can edit this talk page, and the article is not protected. You can edit the relevant section (or edit the entire page, just as you edit this one) and copy and modify another entry to create one for Fight Night Round 3. It's really not that difficult. For general help on editing see Help:Editing, for tables see Help:Table, for citing a source see WP:Referencing for beginners. Huon (talk) 03:58, 23 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
