In many reports the destination ghat is Medertary Ghat, and the ferry sank about 500m from the ghat. (http://www.assamtribune.com/scripts/detailsnew.asp?id=may0212/at05) It is not clear to me that Medertary Ghat is the same as Fakirganj Ghat. Could someone please confirm? Thanks.
