Number of deaths[edit]

44 in infobox; "at least 50" in lede. Which is correct? Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 17:54, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Area/people affected[edit]

I know that there is a citation, but the comment, "China experienced heavy rainfall affecting 20 provinces and roughly 6 million people" doesn't make much sense. There are 34 provinces in Chila and over a billion people. Geographically, we are talking about 60% of the provinces being affected, but not even a single percentage of the population? It would be like saying that 30 states are affected, but only a million Americans. I didn't put the dubious tag there, but I agree with whoever did.21:12, 11 July 2013 (UTC) — Preceding [Wikipedia:Signatures|unsigned] comment added by 74.124.47.10 (talk)

Presumably the source means had their lives disrupted is a significant way - obviously a lot more people were rained on. I have changed the wording accordingly. --ThaddeusB (talk) 00:28, 12 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
