Fake republic!!!![edit]

This republic doesn't exist!!! Delete it from Wikipedia!! Romeo30099 (talk) 01:06, 8 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Romeo30099: It definitely exists de facto, and has different health authorities than those of Ukraine, so it is noteworthy. Your opinion does not made for encyclopedic notability. Serafart (talk) (contributions) 14:15, 11 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Serafart: These Ukrainian territories of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, which you desperatly call "republics" are de facto under foreign occupation regime, which imitates so called "independent" authorities. If you really support encyclopedic notability then you should rather vote up for renaming this article into "COVID-19 pandemic on temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk oblast" or including those statistics into Ukrainian count. @Andrii Gladii: please read WP:NPOV first to understand Wikipedia's policies on neutrality. Serafart (talk) (contributions) 23:43, 12 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Serafart: well, if such "policies on neutrality" don't respect law of recognized states, than we have a disturbing issue with Wikipedia in general. According to the Ukrainian law 2268-VIII so called "republics" are considered as temporary occupied territories. Just think for a while when you prioritize Wikipedia policies above Ukrainian national law. Neutrality could be achieved if we would first take into account Ukrainian national law and then WP:NPOV. @Andrii Gladii: Why should the laws of one country take precedence over the policy of neutrality? If the Ugandan law states that Donetsk is the territory of Uganda, should we write that? 178.163.92.64 (talk) 16:18, 14 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Why does the version before the current one keep getting removed?[edit]

It contains sourced, more up-to-date information. Please reinstate it.— Preceding unsigned comment added by El819 (talkcontribs) 17:42, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't forget to sign your comments using four tildes (~~~~). I couldn't find a previous version identical to the one you are proposing. You also removed text without explaining why. Rsk6400 (talk) 18:36, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The most recent version before the current one had an additional source. Almost all removed text was simply removed. Plus the current introduction to the article describes DPR as a disputed Russian republic, whereas the version preceding the current one does no such thing as in 2020 DPR was not claimed by Russia. A response to my comment would be appreciated. El819 (talk) 22:29, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The onus for getting consensus for the changes you propose is on you, see WP:ONUS. Your language is a bit confusing - if you say "the most recent version", you seem to be talking about your version. Rsk6400 (talk) 05:16, 28 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Am i allowed to make further explained, sourced changes without getting consensus prior? El819 (talk) 18:46, 28 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Of course, see WP:BRD. Rsk6400 (talk) 05:30, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
