Title

[edit]

The article's title should be changed in to "2021 Niger attacks", as deadly attacks in the country are increasing also in other regions. Yesterday, at least 60 people were killed at three villages in the Tahoua region. Gianluigi02 (talk) 15:22, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Creation of article of some of the attacks

[edit]

I think al least 3 of the attacks on this list deserve their own article, the January 2021 Tillabéri attack(105 dead), March 16 Bani-Bangou ambush(58 dead), and March 21 Tahoua attack(127 dead). Do you people think those 3 attacks are notable enough for their own Wikipedia article.--Garmin21 (talk) 01:10, 1 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, if enough sources can be found to create separate articles for them. Jim Michael (talk) 20:16, 18 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Considering they are separate articles on French Wikipedia, I think I can.--Garmin21 (talk) 01:55, 20 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Support this. Bokoharamwatch (talk) 18:49, 4 January 2022 (UTC) Ps sudan (darfur) has same prob.[reply]

2021 Niger attacksJihadist insurgency in Niger – I propose to change the article title to "Jihadist insurgency in Niger" following the example of Jihadist insurgency in Burkina Faso.

I also propose to change the scope of this article to cover the entire insurgency in Niger and not just a period of the conflict (the year 2021). Several sources support that Niger is facing a jihadist insurgency.
