DYK[edit]
(Suggestions are welcome) :)
- for the DYK, maybe details of war could be included. For example, Battles Won or Fought, etc. --Boguslav (talk) 06:27, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
- ...that the 383rd Rifle Division (Soviet Union) was nicknamed Shakhterskaya (meaning miners') because it was originally compromised entirely of miners from the Donets Basin in modern-day Ukraine?
Losses inflicted[edit]
It seems highly unlikely that an inexperienced division would inflict 6,500 enemy casualties in a single battle, given the general background of the period (German forces overwhelming Soviet defenses until november 1941 at least) JurSchagen (talk) 22:20, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
