4 Nin Uchi Mahjong → 4 Nin Uchi Mājan – Maybe "mājan" would be a better transcription for Japanese-based works in general, unless something in the work states otherwise? For example, マージャン is clearly printed on this game's title screen, even when 麻雀 is on the box. Also, about numbers; is "4-nin" something we should be doing, like 4-tsu? - Oppose 4 Nin Uchi Mājan is not a WP:COMMONAME. Accoding to Google, only hits are about this discussion. --Kusunose 01:27, 12 March 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose formulaic phonetic transcription, when usually transcribed as "Mahjong" even if its from a Japanese source. 70.24.251.71 (talk) 05:32, 12 March 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose, per WP:UE. Mahjong is the English name for the game this is based on. Moonraker12 (talk) 21:24, 15 March 2012 (UTC)
