[edit]I believe that 9C1 is the RPO code for police spec Caprices only. The Camaro police spec is called B4C for instance.
B4C was the Camaro RPO only, 9C1 was used for at least the Caprice, the Malibu and the Nova.
Really I think 9C1 is used on the Tahoe also B4Ctom1 00:35, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
the 9c1 is the "standard" police patrol vehicle (PPV). A detective variant of the model was also available, known as 9c3. It retained most of the performance upgrades of the 9c1, but was styled to look like a civilian model. Interestingly, there were no civilian models offered in the US, as the car was built in Australia on the Holden Commodore platform.
