Allahyarham Prefix

[edit]

Per WP:HONOR styles and honorifics should not be included in front of the name, but may be discussed in the article. The exception being common use, familial usage or if its a common form of address for the subject. AS such, I've removed it from the infobox. Note that Allahyarham barely appears on other articles of deceased Malays, so that should already raise a flag. Zhanzhao (talk) 10:10, 31 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Academic literature

[edit]

There is some literature on his creation as a Malay hero in Singapore. https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/pdf/10.1191/1474474005eu335oa looks worth digging out. I'll try and add things from https://books.google.co.uk/books?hl=en&lr=&id=yO_wBgAAQBAJ&oi=fnd&pg=PR10&dq=Adnan+Saidi&ots=NtpsVXmVbx&sig=htFZ111t0Ym-NwcM7bGvfs0Pkao&redir_esc=y#v=onepage&q=Adnan%20Saidi&f=false Secretlondon (talk) 22:30, 13 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
