This is in great shape as expected. A few comments:

Lead and infobox
  • suggest "The Alger class comprised three protected cruisers of the French Navy built in the late 1880s and early 1890s; the three ships were Alger, Isly, and Jean Bart."
    • Good idea
  • suggest "and were followed by Jean Bart in 1898"
    • Works for me
  • link Far East, it is a bit archaic these days
    • Done
  • comma after Arsenal De Rochefort in the infobox, perhaps this would be better as a list with each on a new line?
    • I had overlooked that when I expanded the article - fixed
  • suggest lost 1, retired 2 in the infobox
    • Fixed
Body
  • "French cruiser Châteaurenault→Châteaurenault"
    • Fixed
  • the displacement in the body doesn't match the infobox
    • Fixed
  • what 100 mm guns?
    • Fixed, good catch
  • which guns were the gunshields for?
    • Clarified
  • link Far East
    • Done
  • add OCLC for Scientific American Supplement
    • Done

That's all I could find. Placing on hold for the above to be addressed. Peacemaker67 (click to talk to me) 11:09, 23 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
