Roof hatches

[edit]

Here's why the Stalwart had no side entry doors, only roof hatches: [1] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.7.147.13 (talk) 15:51, 12 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Foreign Service

[edit]

To my knowledge, this vehicle was never in Canadian service. Cdnguy68 (talk) 19:11, 12 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Steering

[edit]

Just the front axle? · · · Peter Southwood (talk): 16:13, 8 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The middle wheels steered at 50% of the front wheels, controlled by a 2 to 1 beam between the two. Page 96 of army manual V642-2 [2]https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ySwkVfgTN4PdahmRWJnIpr8WhPXhBfyT/view?usp=sharing Darzet boy (talk) 11:10, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

'Unwinding' the transmission

[edit]

My dad was in the Royal Engineers and has told me about Saracen drivers bashing up and down kerbs to let the tension out. 90.250.1.152 (talk) 16:22, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Evidence.

[edit]

If anyone wants evidence to the facts that I include on this page, please add Citation required in the relevant locations within the text - and I'll provide it. I have a website page full of MOD files and manuals for the Stalwart, and I have letters from Alvis etc to give further evidence - which will answer any and every query that you have. There is no point in Wikipedia if it's full of false information because Wiki keyboard warriors keep deleting fact instead of bothering to ask for the relevant evidence. If Wiki was that good, then why is there no way to add images here to provide evidence ? Darzet boy (talk) 11:14, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It is up to you to provide the sources, not up to others to ask for them. Murgatroyd49 (talk) 14:15, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
They were provided, but you started deleting sources like Commercial Motor and the MEXE report. Andy Dingley (talk) 15:13, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
