I just wanted to comment on the 10,400 crowd on that Buck Night in 2005. Standing room tickets were one dollar, as well as hot dogs and 12 ounce drinks. Plus on that day the Power had a huge group of people from some of the local businesses. It was amazing how many people were there, every seat was filled, every picnic table was filled, there were people milling around the concourse and every available spot to stand along the outfield was filled. It was a chaotic sea of humanity, but it was great to see that many people enjoying a baseball game on a beautiful evening. One thing that I thought was interesting is that the only indication of the huge crowd in the paper the next morning was the attendance figure in the boxscore, sure enough it said 10,400, and honestly I'd never have believed that number had I not been there. Says as such: "There is also a special section behind third base known as the "Rowdy Alley"." Now, I work at the Power Park and I do not know of this "Rowdy Alley" section this article mentions and I've been working there for 3 1/2 years now. Is it meaning directly behind third base or the concourse behind third base? Because the area behind the third base line is known as the Picnic Garden because that's where we have the pre-game all-you-can-eat buffet lines at. It is also known as the Budweiser Bullpen Bar & Grill, the reason it's also called that is because groups are able to purchase kegs for their group and that is the area where the keg is set up and there is a concession stand right there also which is also the stand that runs the Picnic Garden buffets. But anyways, I would like to know where the "Rowdy Alley" name came from and exactly where it's at. It's also quite possible that the area known as the Picnic Garden was known as the Rowdy Alley before I started working there which was in August 2006. JDC808 (talk) 08:42, 26 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Seating capacity

[edit]

Hey all, any thoughts on what the seating capacity should be listed as in the article? I've got a source here listing official capacity at 4,500. Kithira (talk) 19:36, 19 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
