Edit request May 2024[edit]
This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
I represent Bastion and know not to edit this article directly. There are a few updates I'd like to request. Can an unconnected editor please help?
1) The agency is now called just Bastion. The Collective part was removed years ago. You can see in coverage going back to 2021 that the name isn't used anymore. Can the article be renamed to Bastion (agency), to match the article?
2) With the 2021 acquisition of New Zealand's shine, Bastion is now considered the largest independent agency in Australasia, which is Australia and New Zealand and some other islands. Can this be changed in the lead? Suggested before and after text follows, with a source:
− | It is reportedly the largest independent marketing and communications group in | + | It is reportedly the largest independent marketing and communications group in Australia and New Zealand, and was founded in 2009 by former professional [[Australian rules football]]er [[Fergus Watts]].

This box shows the ref placement:
3) Could you add a company acquisition chronologically after the first paragraph of the history section?:
4) The location information in the operations section is out of date. Could you replace the second paragraph as follows. Note that I'm purposely phrasing the location information to use the company contact page as a source, to simplify the sourcing challenge:
− | The company's global headquarters is in the Melbourne, Australia suburb of | + | The company's global headquarters is in the Melbourne, Australia suburb of Richmond Cremorne, Victoria, and the company lists additional offices in Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Auckland, Los Angeles, Orange County, CA, and New York City.
