Key to Confederate Victory

[edit]

A key part of this was a Union brigade of the Army of the Potomac was rushed forward from Washington and was badly handled by Jackson's men. This influenced McClellan to slowly move his troops to assist Pope as it made him worry that sending them forward piecemeal would lead to further types of actions. This meant that the unification of the two Union armies was further delayed.

article move

[edit]

I recommend the article's title be changed to Battle of Manassas Station Operations to get rid of the abbreviation in the title or optionally, Battle of Manassas Station. Comments?
