@Piotrus: I'm still new to this so forgive me if I'm not doing this correctly. I have updated the Beacon Roofing Supply page. The citations include sources from Wall Street Journal, The Motley Fool, Yahoo! Finance, Forbes, Market Watch, Pro Sales Magazine, and Business Wire. All of these are independent and neutral sources for business and investing. Please let me know how else I can improve the page to ensure that it is not deleted Tsehrer (talk) 15:48, 5 November 2014 (UTC)tsehrer[reply]

@Tsehrer: Thanks for the updates. You should post it at the AfD page as well, and ping the nominator, User:DGG, for a re-review there. But what we really need is press articles discussing the company and it's actions; press releases and stock reports are not enough - anybody can generate them. What you need to show is that real journalists have been writing about the company. Economic/business/finance columns count, too. Academic publications would be fine, too. If there are any roofing publications (likely), articles from them would be helpful, too. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 05:45, 6 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I consider the added references mere mentions. DGG ( talk ) 17:00, 6 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Item 2.05 Costs Associated with Exit or Disposal Activities

On January 14, 2020, the Board of Directors of Beacon Roofing Supply, Inc. (the “Company” or “Beacon”) determined to rebrand its exterior product branches with the tradename “Beacon Building Products” (the “Rebranding”). The new name, and a related logo, will be adopted at over 450 Beacon one-step exterior products branches. The Company’s interior, insulation, weatherproofing and two-step branches will continue to operate under current brand names. In connection with the Rebranding, the Company has determined that it will incur non-cash accelerated intangible asset amortization of approximately $135 million to $140 million related to the write-off of certain tradenames, primarily Allied (exterior products only), Roofing Supply Group and JGA. The accelerated amortization will be recognized in the Company’s fiscal quarter ending March 31, 2020. The physical rebranding of branch locations and equipment is expected to result in cash expenditures of approximately $5 million.

I noticed the Page Move link in the more menu, and moved the page per request, which also created the #REDIRECT link from the old name page, and the Talk page move option was also selected.--Bob Shaw (talk) 20:04, 28 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
