Years of experience

[edit]

The article says "BWI Group has had a long history of experience in the automotive components industry:". But the time line shows events from companies that it bought (presumably all of them were bought in 2009). To me, this implies that BWI itself has under 3 years of experience in the field, even though its subsidiaries have decades of experience.  Stepho  talk  05:42, 2 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I deleted the sentence before noticing your comment. I didn't think the sentence added any value to the page anyway. User:King4057 (COI Disclosure on User Page) 02:16, 14 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. The claim for many years of experience seemed strange for such a recent take-over.  Stepho  talk  13:13, 14 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
In an interview (http://www.bwigroup.com/data/upload/QA_with_BWI.pdf) the director indicated some BWI suspension parts are being exported to China from North America, likely from the plants BWI bought, which would make the timeline good. - 173.28.93.51 (talk) 15:14, 15 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
