Ben Burnley's Girlfriend

I’ve got a comment about Rhiannon because I’m sure Kathrynlovesrock is correct in that she was Ben’s girlfriend, but I have my doubts that she is currently, pictures or her Myspace page or not. The reason I think she was, is that if you listen to the song “No Games” from Saturate there are lyrics “My dear Rhiannon, I need an answer…Would you, want to, feel the way that I do. I bend to your will”. So obviously, you don’t write a girl's name into your song if you’re not involved with her in some way.

I just question whether they still are together because there’s some seriously fuzzy math at work with the dates. Saturate was released on August 27, 2002, according to Amazon.com. I have no idea how long it takes to write and record songs and then get an album released, but I’m guestimating that it takes a good six months, which means Ben probably wrote that song sometime from Jan-March of 2002. Kathryn says that Rhiannon lists her and Ben’s 4th anniversary as Sept 21, 2008. I was no math major, but 2008 minus 2002 equals 6, not 4 (not to mention those additional months from song being written to album release date). I admit that from the lyrics it does kinda sound like he’s pursuing her, but let's be honest, I just can’t see a guy who has hundreds of women (probably more) who would be MORE than willing to be his girlfriend, chasing after someone for 2+yrs. See what I mean about fuzzy math?

Any evidence that this is true? The article doesn't have any references and I tried Google-ing the quoted statement she made about Ben, but found nothing. There isn't even a last name given to her. I also tried checking Google to see if any other site has info about a "Rhiannon" and breaking benjamin/ben burnley, but I didn't find anything either.

So, is this just vandalism or poorly cited info or what?

[Actually, about the song Evil Angel, he commented on the news that the song was about the girl he was in love with recently has fallen out of love with him. He said "Please, kill me now, evil angel. Put me to sleep. Don't make me live through this pain anymore." I can't find anything varifying this except for when I saw it on News Center 7. There is nothing about this on the internet or anywhere else. Strange.] —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.210.173.57 (talk) 18:16, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

Every website I look at the no games lyrics says my dear Brianna.... ZODtheReaper (talk) 09:59, 22 February 2009 (UTC) \

He is in fact dating a girl named Rhiannon, she is from Northern Kentucky, and they have been together for like 4 years. They met outside of one of his shows, and they now live together.

Misc

Ben Burnley is amazing. I recently went to a concert with Breaking Ben, Nickelback, & Three Days Grace, & they were all awesome, but I liked Breaking Ben the best.

Ben discusses his phobias in two interviews: UGO Interview and WMMR Interview

More biographical information should be added, if available.

Information, such as, what high school did Ben attend?
How many brothers and sisters does he have?
Has he ever been married and if so, for how long?
Does he have any children?
What nationality/ethnic background is his family?
Ben appears to become ill on tours. Does he have a long-term medical condition, besides his phobias?

(I'd like to make a notice that the sound in the intro of the "Phobia" album the sound that was said to be a train sounds more like windshield wipers going to me. And also, you here a car door closing near the start. I don't have an account, nor do I know how to fix this so I just added that on here. Someone should look into that.)

The intro and outro of the "Phobia" album defintely has a door opening and closing. It does sound like windshield wipers. But then it comes to the train (though it could be a plane). I think these sounds represent Ben's fear of traveling.

I noticed that there is no citation for the trivia: "Ben once sang the National Anthem and threw out the first pitch at the first Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees game in April 2007 at PNC Field.". I have found proof for the National Anthem, though I cannot find anything saying that Ben threw out the first pitch.

And, I believe Ben was born in New Jersey... I found a video with Ben stating that he was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey. I may just be hearing wrong. Please check this before referencing it.

^^ you are correct, i just got back from a concert tonight in AC and he said himself he was born here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.90.13.87 (talk) 06:24, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

Ben's alleged atheism

Please provide a source for this bit of trivia before re-adding it to the entry. Ben makes reference to God, including his announcement regarding his prolonged illness during the summer 2007 tour: "I’m working tirelessly to getting to the bottom of this so I can do what God put me on this earth to do." illness?

do we have any clue to what is wrong with him? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.148.37.102 (talk) 00:53, 15 July 2008 (UTC)

In his profile page, it stated that he wore a superman suit to the show in Fort Wayne Indiana at the Allen County War Memorial Coleseum. This is true. I went to that show (Breaking Benjamin, Three Days grace, Red) on Halloween. Funny statement from Ben: He said (wearing the Superman costume) "Don't let this (Hallowen) fool you... I wear this every day!" —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fuzzy1729 (talkcontribs) 19:27, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
