General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
QPQ: Done.
Overall: Can't say I'm much of a lacrosse expert, but what an interesting biography! Seems such a shame he died that young and didn't get to know these honors while he lived. As for the nomination, from all I can gather, things seem to be in order. Thanks to Gatoclass for helping spruce up the hook, which is interesting (now that the reader knows Fitzgerald's second best, they've got to click to find out more about why!) and sourced in the article. Plagiarism check is clear, and from my own check on the sources the facts are all there. The article maintains an appropriately encyclopedic tone while narrating Fitzgerald's life, avoiding adopting a 'fan' tone from any sources. QPQ is done, article was new enough at nomination, and it's long enough. Thanks for the interesting read. P-Makoto (she/her) (talk) 13:06, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
