This is gobbledygook. I have written much milder articles in psychotherapy and was thrown out for psycho talk. I am both a maths teacher and a dance movement therapist so it's not like I have no maths knowledge but this article makes zero sense to someone who does not know already know what it's about. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.6.213.142 (talk) 22:18, 19 June 2010 (UTC)
- Agreed; the current article is horrible. I understand this is a very advanced topic, but the article shifts from one advanced idea to the next with barely a hint of down-to-earth discussion. I don't see the point in writing anything here if you have to thoroughly understand what is being said before you can understand what is being said, since this article does not appear to be a reference. Right now it's incomprehensible to the uninitiated and useless to the initiated--what a wonderful page. 208.107.152.253 (talk) 12:01, 3 November 2011 (UTC)
- I can't do much about this article, as I've myself not much knowledge in this field, but I've added in a template indicating that the article is too technical. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.126.255.117 (talk) 01:11, 2 December 2016 (UTC)
- Ugh, this article needs a total rewrite. Right now, it is unclear whether the article is about higher-dimensional algebras or supercategories, which seem to be two different types of mathematical structures to me (or at least one is a hyponym of the other). I'll try to see if there is a Supercategory article to merge the information in there; if there isn't I may just create one. 130.126.255.117 (talk) 02:00, 2 December 2016 (UTC)
