I have just corrected a small spelling mistake.

I added two links dealing with the historical development of the Cherub class.

Although this article is on Blogger, the Sailcraftblog project is a major historical reference for sailing dinghy development researched by Chris Thompson. There are considerable footnotes and references for sources on every article posted to the sailcraftblog. There is no reference for dinghy design that is a higher quality despite using the blogger platform. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Boatmik (talkcontribs) 01:34, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This is a brilliant resource of historical information and drawings that are rare to find for any small boat type. It is particularly important as the Cherub in context is one of the breakthroughs in design and contruction that revolutionised sailing dinghy design in the 1960s until the present. The articles on this page go through the continued developement of hull shapes and sail configurations in a highly detailed way from 1960 to the present with accurate drawings of many of the important designs. it is a potted history of the development of dinghy design shapes over 6 decades. There are not many or any development classes (where hull shape changes are allowed within a defined set of measureemnts) that have any sort of record at all of these changes. The UK Cherub website and this specific list of references are one of the few resources available for those studying sailing dinghy design and development.
