The request certainly makes sense, but looking at the article's sources, the current spelling appears to be more common. Given that this move will also entail the move of some related pages (like Adi (Chikodi) or Category:Chikodi taluk geography stubs), it's probably best to pass it through an WP:RM first. – Uanfala (talk) 21:57, 11 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
