User:Smuconlaw/Chng Suan Tze v. Minister for Home Affairs → Chng Suan Tze v. Minister for Home Affairs —
- Could you please do a history merge? This article was the subject of a student project, and I'd like to preserve the edit history of the sandboxed article. — SMUconlaw (talk) 17:00, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
- (And move the existing Chng Suan Tze v. Minister for Home Affairs to e.g. Chng Suan Tze v. Minister for Home Affairs/version 2.) There is no historical connection between these two pages; User:Smuconlaw/Chng Suan Tze v. Minister for Home Affairs is clearly a new start from scratch, so I see no case for history-merge. And there is some time overlap between the two pages' histories. It remains to decide which of these 2 pages is a better description of the topic. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 06:07, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
- "User:Smuconlaw/Chng Suan Tze v. Minister for Home Affairs" is intended as an expansion of the existing article "Chng Suan Tze v. Minister for Home Affairs". I suggested a history merge so that the student who worked on the article would appear in the article history and thus appropriately credited for his work, but if you don't think this is a good idea then I'll just copy and paste the article over, but then only I (User:Smuconlaw) will appear as a contributor. — SMUconlaw (talk) 07:23, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
- Done I made the 2 moves listed here. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 09:11, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks! — SMUconlaw (talk) 09:13, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
