Sony Breach Shows NFL Influenced Concussion Film Contents

[edit]

Emails leaked by Sony's security breach revealed that Sony worked with the NFL's legal counsel so that the NFL would not be offended. Some question the historical accuracy and reliability of the movie.

differences

[edit]

Some things in the film are different than in real life. I don't see anything about him studying music in London. Is there a list somewhere? That'd be something useful to add to the article. Dream Focus 04:37, 25 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

He Won?

[edit]

Why does it say Will Smith won a golden globe award for his role in this film if the awards haven't even happened yet?

Agreed. I wondered that too. In fact, I think all the award that are classed as "won" should be checked. --WayneBu (talk) 16:46, 1 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ridicule?

[edit]

The article says:

"Will Smith's performance was praised for being "sensitive [and] understated" by The Denver Post, while his African accent was a subject of ridicule.[24]"

But regarding his accent, this footnote (denverpost.com) only says:

"Much of the credit here goes to Smith: He masters Omalu’s Nigerian accent in a convincing, unshowy manner, and remains hugely watchable throughout."

How is this considered ridicule? Is there some other article that this was meant to reference? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.109.5.23 (talk) 18:58, 22 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
