I'll get to this shortly.

Rate Attribute Review Comment
1. Well-written:
1a. the prose is clear, concise, and understandable to an appropriately broad audience; spelling and grammar are correct.
1b. it complies with the Manual of Style guidelines for lead sections, layout, words to watch, fiction, and list incorporation.
2. Verifiable with no original research:
2a. it contains a list of all references (sources of information), presented in accordance with the layout style guideline.
2b. reliable sources are cited inline. All content that could reasonably be challenged, except for plot summaries and that which summarizes cited content elsewhere in the article, must be cited no later than the end of the paragraph (or line if the content is not in prose).
2c. it contains no original research.
3. Broad in its coverage:
3a. it addresses the main aspects of the topic.
3b. it stays focused on the topic without going into unnecessary detail (see summary style).
4. Neutral: it represents viewpoints fairly and without editorial bias, giving due weight to each.
5. Stable: it does not change significantly from day to day because of an ongoing edit war or content dispute.
6. Illustrated, if possible, by media such as images, video, or audio:
6a. media are tagged with their copyright statuses, and valid non-free use rationales are provided for non-free content. dubious licensed images removed
6b. media are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions.
7. Overall assessment. Placing on hold for seven days for the comments and issues to be addressed all comments addressed, passing

  • As I started to read through the article for prose, I saw that the bolded title that "leads the lead", is "Croatian Air Force". I believe that this is not compliant with WP:LEAD (GA criteria 1b), because I did a Google Books search of "Hrvatsko bojno zrakoplovstvo", and got zero hits, so I am suggesting that not only should that title not be bolded in the lead, but on the basis of WP:COMMONNAME the article should be moved to "Air Force of the Independent State of Croatia", which appears to at least have some sources for it per this. This article isn't going to get listed by me until this matter is resolved, so I'm going to wait for a response.

- a few things to carry on with.

  • "in Graz in his Potez 25 on 4 April 1941 and declared himself an Ustaše supporter." needs a citation.
  • needs conversion templates throughout for bomb weights etc
  • once you've used the hr language template once, you can dispense with it from then on and just place the Croatian in parentheses without the template
  • all single digit numbers should be in words per WP:NUMERAL.
  • the ranks table has a source that doesn't meet WP:RS. The same info is available on p.39 of Osprey's Axis Forces in Yugoslavia 1941-45.
  • the external link is dead, and in any case, externals need to be RS as well. You might as well delete it.
  • the Vrancic book needs more detail, here is a link to the Worldcat entry, you will need to add a trans_title and the OCLC at the very least.
  • so do several others, such as Grbelja [1], just look them up on Worldcat and populate the missing fields.
  • Fn's 1-9, 53, 55-57 don't point to the respective source in the Bibliography
  • most of the See also's are overlinks (ie appear in the text already),
  • File:Dukovac8.jpg doesn't have a US PD tag, and there is also no information about the date of death of the person that took the photo to support the PD old tag. I suggest you get some advice from someone like Nikkimaria.
  • The IK-2 and Dornier pilots having a toast image are both under a Commons deletion notice at present
  • File:Fiat G50.jpg has no date, source or author info
  • No mention of what happened to Kren, Also drop the Colonel Vladimir the second and subsequent mentions, from then on it is just Kren.
  • the lead mentions the volunteers that joined the Luftwaffe, but it is not mentioned in the body of the article except when they returned.
  • "bravely" = a "word to watch"

I'm placing this one on hold for seven days to give a chance for these issues and comments to be addressed. Regards, Peacemaker67 (send... over) 02:22, 7 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

just a reminder this article will fail GA on criteria 6a unless the current image licensing issues are resolved. I'll close the review at some stage on the 14th. Regards, Peacemaker67 (send... over) 13:43, 12 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
